Nancy Drew and her decades of amateur sleuthing, adaptations featuring new storylines, and overall formative influence on women has been inspiring since 1930. Changing with every stage of cultural influence since then, many have grown up reading Nancy Drew, and many attribute her to their own personal growth and success. We’ve read young, unruly, blonde Nancy; older, professional red-haired Nancy; contemporary Nancy; romantic Nancy, and the list goes on. But whatever she looks like, she’ll always be an underdog feminist heroine.

With so many stories and so many subplots, there’s a version of Nancy Drew that everyone will enjoy. While the original series ended in 2003, there are still Nancy Drew books being written, and every generation deserves a Nancy to grow up with. So, in an attempt to help new Nancy Drew fans find their way, we’ve compiled a list of 10 Nancy Drew books that are great for new fans.
