<p>Phoebe Potts grew up in Brooklyn and then on Martha's Vineyard. A graduate of Smith College, she received her MFA from the Maine College of Art in Portland. She lives with her husband, the artist Jeffrey Marshall, in Gloucester, Massachusetts.</p>
