When is Amazon Prime Day 2020? It’s on Tuesday, October 13! The sales begin at 12am PDT and conclude at 11:59PM PDT on Wednesday, October 14. Prime Day offers some of Amazon's best deals of the year—featuring more than 1 million deals. Keep reading to find out everything you need to know to score incredible prices on ebooks, ereaders, home goods, fashion, electronics, and more.

What is Prime Day?

Amazon's Prime day has grown from a giant one-day sale on everything from tech, home goods and more to an even bigger two-day sale event. Just about every category on Amazon will be offering deals on certain products.

While some products will be discounted for the entirety of the sale, Amazon Prime Day is known for its Lightning Deals. Lightning deals are revealed throughout the day, with limited quantities of each product being available for consumers. If you snag one of these deals, you have a limited amount of time (usually 10 minutes) to place your order before you lose your claim and the deal goes to the next person on the wait list.

What to Expect for Amazon Prime Day 2020

Usually, Amazon Prime Day occurs in mid-July. This year, the giant sale was delayed due to COVID-19, pushing it back to October 13.
