The Best Fantasy Books and Novels

For most readers, your book is your escape from the rest of the world. And while you can flee to whatever world you’d like, fantasy books have a knack for being the most welcoming place to go. The best fantasy books not only distract you from the real world, but make you feel like you’re part of another, vastly more exciting one. 

Some of us enjoy worlds that are a little more familiar, such as historical fantasy books, or worlds that we can potentially visit (if only in a theme park) like books for folks who love Disney. Sometimes we need a little more distraction, and so our list of afrofuturism books that explore the past, present, and future may be necessary.
